- Trash Talk "Demo" Tape
Release Date: November 2005

Description: This young band coming from Sacramento
have recorded probably one of the best demos this year.
Short, fast and really pissed off, like our days, like
our times. Trash Talk are blowing away everybody with
the 80s flavour on their music: angry and to the point
as HC music should be. Highly recommed to Infest, Tear
It Up and Negative Approach fanatics!

When I was in high school, I listened to shitty music.
At one low point in particular, Slipknot made heavy
rotation in my playlist. They were the "craziest"
and "hardest" band I had heard at that point
in my life. If only I’d heard Trash Talk, my life
would have been different. Trash Talk capture the rage
of every high schooler who hates that which doesn't
make sense. A big middle finger up the asshole of every
preppy prick whoever said punk rock is for losers. Those
preps might've been right, but losers make better music
than winners. Seven
songs in four minutes with an average of one barked
"fuck" per song. In other words, this demo
rules. Trash Talk play fast, short songs with a hint
of heaviness and a load of pent up aggression ("Run
your mouth/Run for cover.") If bands like Outbreak,
Internal Affairs and Shark Attack are of your interest,
Trash Talk will spew some gnarled times. To finish the
listener off with a deep wound, Cody from Sabertooth
Zombie does guest vocals in "Dead End Road."
The slight darkness (or “shade,” if you
will,) is subtle, but might be more apparent on future
releases. Or maybe that's just me hoping. Even if you're
not in high school, or if you haven't even reached ninth
grade, you can still connect to Trash Talk if you have
any hair on your peen or vaj. Or if you like a little
"fuck you" in your music, on your music, and
a little on the side - Zed
