When you talk old school you can still sound like a band of the new millennium with all the state of the art equipment these days. Mallorkaos not only thinks their music should sound old school (Aggressive Boston hardcore (Jerry’s Kids / SSD) with some 80’s Dischord influences), but the way of recording and some of the melodies come close to the early Token Entry releases. This rocks all the way from our tiny country to the Mediterranean and back. And as the name will suggest the band hails from the Spanish island of Mallorca. I really love this record on its pristine white vinyl, and with music like this a cd would totally ruin the fun. www.insideknowledge.net
